- Previous defects, inhibits or temporary controls reviewed.
Bridge alert check
- First bridge alert triggered under controlled conditions.
- Alert time or sequence recorded.
- Visual indication checked from normal watch positions.
- Audible alert checked from normal watch positions.
- Watchkeeper acknowledgement or reset method confirmed.
- Crew can identify the alert as BNWAS rather than a generic alarm.
Escalation check
